  • Thursday 26th September 2024

We are holding our annual Open Evening on Thursday 26th September for prospective pupils to Gordano School in September 2025 and we would very much like to welcome you and your child into school on that evening.

The school will be open from 4pm to 7.30pm.  In order to ensure everybody’s safety and comfort, we will ask you to book a time to visit the school and a link to a booking system which will enable you to select your preferred time slot is included below. We would ask that you limit your booking to a maximum of 3 seats to ensure as many families as possible can attend. We are running three presentations in the Main Hall: the first presentation takes place at 4pm, and this will be repeated at 5pm and 6pm. During the evening there will be an opportunity for you to meet Louise Blundell, Headteacher, and other staff, and to tour the school with the help of our pupil guides.

This is an exciting time to join Gordano, as we are able to boast ever improving facilities alongside great exam results. Our ethos at Gordano is about developing the whole person and Ms Blundell will be talking about how we seek to balance personal development with academic achievement, while making sure that the experience of being a pupil at Gordano is thoroughly enjoyable.

As we are expecting a large turnout on the evening, car parking is likely to be difficult; if you live close to the school we would strongly encourage you to walk! If you do choose to come by car, parking will only be available on the school field, accessed via Clevedon Road, and our Sixth Form students will be on hand to direct you there.

If you are unable to attend on Thursday evening, you may like to attend our Open Morning on Friday 4th October at 9.45am, further details regarding this will be available in due course.

If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Debbie Dexter, Senior Administrator by email at administration@gordanoschool.org.uk.

We look forward to meeting you and your child.
