Gordano PTA

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents who have expressed a desire to be involved in our PTA but are unable to attend the AGM at this particularly busy time of year. In light of this, we have made the decision to postpone our Annual General Meeting, originally scheduled for Wednesday 4th June, until September. This will not only allow for greater participation but also provide an opportunity to warmly welcome the new Year 7 families who will be joining our school community in September.

The Gordano Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a group of parents and school staff who are at the heart of the school community, helping to enrich the educational experience for all students.

It’s a great opportunity to get involved with the school, meet other parents and raise some vital funds in the process.

PTAs can be an indispensable asset to a school in many ways by:

- bridging the funding gap

- qualifying for grants and match-funding projects

- implementing events and projects to engage families in children's success and school improvements

- partnering with other community organisations

- engaging the local community

- effectively communicating with families
