Sixth Form Open Evening – September 2026 Entry
We were delighted to welcome families to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 13th November. The informative event gave prospective students the chance to:
- Explore over 30 subjects at our subject fair
- Receive guidance on our wide-ranging extracurricular programme
- Gain advice on effective independent study
- Meet the Head's of Year and current Sixth Form students

New to Gordano?
Students who are exploring Gordano Sixth Form are encouraged to view the prospectus with possible subject choices in mind. Our Sixth Form offers a wide variety of A-Level and Vocational Courses, which will allow students to excel in their chosen field.
Students are welcome to apply directly to Gordano Sixth Form.

How do I apply?
The application process opens on Monday 24 November 2025. Current Year 11 students will receive an email from 'Applicaa' containing their unique username and password, along with a link to the application website. Students will need to log into Applicaa to apply.

Application Deadline
Applications should be submitted by Friday 16 January 2026.
Please note if applications are submitted after the deadline date you will still be considered, however, we may be unable to accommodate your subject choices.
Bursary Funding
The 16-19 Bursary Fund is designed to support Post-16 students in full-time education with the financial challenges of their continuing education.
