Welcome to the Year 9 Options process for 2026

This process will support students (and parents) by informing them about the subjects that are compulsory, subjects that can be chosen and how to make decisions in an informed way. This is a particularly significant year; the current Year 9 cohort are the first group to embark on our new two-year Key Stage 4 curriculum, which starts with this crucial Options guidance process. It is no exaggeration to say this curriculum has been years in the making; we are genuinely excited to be offering it to our young people for the first time, both in terms of the curriculum available to them and how these subjects will be delivered from September.
