Gordano School Celebrates Year 7 Achievements at Annual Celebration Evening

Gordano School was proud to host its annual Year 7 Celebration Evening, an inspiring event dedicated to honouring the remarkable achievements, growth, and spirit of its youngest students as they near the end of their first academic year.

The evening provided a heartfelt opportunity for students, staff, parents, and carers to come together in recognition of the enthusiasm, resilience, and commitment shown by the Year 7 cohort since joining Gordano School. It also served as a significant milestone, marking their upcoming transition into their respective Houses in the summer term.

In a warm and celebratory atmosphere, students were recognised not only for their academic success but also for exemplifying Gordano School’s core values: Dream Big, Do Your Best, and Give Back. Awards were presented to those who have demonstrated these principles in outstanding ways. The event also spotlighted subject-specific excellence and other notable accomplishments, showcasing the diverse talents and potential of the Year 7 group.

Ms Blundell, Headteacher, reflected on the evening’s significance, saying:
"We always look forward to welcoming families to this joyful occasion as we celebrate the bright beginnings of our Year 7 students and look ahead to their continued journey at Gordano School.
