Gordano School offers Health and Social Care as a BTEC for both GCSE and A level. The curriculum teaches students life skills as well as theoretical knowledge. Learning about lifestyle choices and the attributes needed to deal with people and to get on in life will be essential to them as they move on from key stage 4 to college or apprenticeships.​ Students learn about communication skills, about treating people with respect, and about the importance of embracing diversity.
