Please view our school prospectus to learn more about our values, curriculum, and the opportunities we offer.
We’re delighted to share a glimpse into life at Gordano School through our school video. It captures the energy, warmth, and ambition that define our community. In the video, you’ll also hear from our Headteacher, Ms Blundell, who shares her vision for the school and what makes it such a special place for students to learn and grow.
We are delighted to offer a series of student-led tours, giving prospective parents and their children the chance to experience the school in action. Each session accommodates up to 30 attendees and begins with a welcome from Ms Blundell. You’ll then be guided around the school by one of our student ambassadors, followed by an opportunity to ask Ms Blundell any questions you may have about our school and its ethos.
At Gordano, education means more than academic success – it’s about developing confident, curious and compassionate young people, ready to thrive beyond school.
We are proud of our record of excellence at GCSE and A Level, but what sets Gordano apart is the rich experience we offer in and beyond the classroom. From day one, students join a warm and ambitious community where every individual is valued and supported.
Our outstanding extra-curricular programme includes the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Creative Arts, sport, debating, and outdoor learning – all helping students grow in confidence, resilience and leadership.
We ensure smooth transitions into secondary school and Sixth Form, with tailored support for SEND students. Recognised as an ‘Area of Excellence’ for Inclusion, we work closely with families to help every child succeed.
Pastoral care is at our core, with six House communities fostering belonging and wellbeing. Alongside this, our wide-ranging Trips and Activities Week offer unforgettable opportunities beyond the classroom.
At Gordano, we live by our values: Dream big. Do your best. Give back.
We warmly invite you to visit and see what makes our school such a vibrant and opportunity-rich place to learn and grow.
Ms Louise Blundell, Headteacher
