The Key Stage 3 Music curriculum provides students with strong foundations in musical knowledge and skill, whatever their musical starting point. Each topic has a focus on performing, appraising and listening, rooted in a historical and/or cultural context. Learning is largely practical, using instruments and IT, with the opportunity for individual, paired and group work.
