Calling all budding artists, RHS South West and Portishead In Bloom have launched their annual painting competition and they are calling for entries from Gordano students.
As one of the largest secondary schools in North Somerset, Gordano’s leadership team were well aware of the challenges that lay ahead for CV19 mass testing. Our team have fully embraced the task and we would like to thank everyone who has helped us to deliver an efficient and effective mass testing facility, to enable students’ safe return to school.
Traditionally on an annual basis Gordano Sixth Form run an annual week of charity fundraising - this year we will be fund raising virtually and hope that this will also be an opportunity to extend our activity offer into the wider community.

The Gordano Careers team are excited to announce our second Engineering Teatime Network session, with guest speaker Aaron Bowen from Edwards Vacuum
Calling all Year 11 to 13 students and parents, reserve your place for our 6th form Virtual Apprenticeships Evening.
Held on Thursday 4th February, our first “Virtual” Teatime Networking Session was kindly hosted by Babcock International.
We are really proud of how our students are open to taking on new challenges and supporting local and national charities. A special shout out to Alex McDowall in Year 7 and Liam Noble in Year 13. Both have been busy prioritising their wellbeing and that of others by taking on a sporting challenge to support two causes that they are passionate about.
