Support for students during Children's Mental Health Week

Children's Mental Health Week was filled with engaging and insightful events designed to raise awareness and provide support for young people’s mental well-being. This year’s activities included a visit from Kooth, the UK’s largest and longest-established digital mental health service; Off The Record Bristol, a mental health support and information service in Bristol and the North Somerset LGBTQ+ Forum, who brought their brand-new vehicle out on the road for the very first time.

Throughout the week, students also had the chance to relax and reflect during lunchtime screenings of the film Inside Out 2. The sequel to the beloved Inside Out, the film explores themes of emotions, identity, and the complexities of growing up. Watching the movie during lunchtime offered a light-hearted yet thought-provoking break, allowing students to connect with the characters’ emotional journeys and think about their own mental health.
