Year 12 Students Engage in Inspiring Week of Future Planning and Community Action

Year 12 students have had a packed and purposeful week, filled with activities designed to help them begin planning for life after Year 13.
- Monday kicked off with a carousel of sessions, including a workshop on cooking on a budget led by the Aspens Catering Team, alongside informative talks on UCAS applications, Assessment Centres, and crafting strong Personal Statements.
- Tuesday offered a wide variety of workshops covering topics such as Gap Years, employability skills, and insights from visiting employers. In the afternoon, students took part in Mock Interviews with a range of professionals, gaining valuable experience and feedback.
- Wednesday was dedicated to giving back to the local community. Students supported the “Turn The Tide” initiative by taking part in a town-wide litter pick, helping to clean up the High Street, Harbourside and Lake Grounds.
Overall, it’s been a busy but rewarding week - full of opportunities to learn, reflect and contribute!
