Year 13 Students Celebrate in Style at Final Ball

Last month, Gordano School's Year 13 students celebrated the end of their school journey in spectacular fashion at their final Ball. Held at The Bristol Hotel, the evening brought together 170 graduates for a memorable celebration of their achievements and friendships.

The event featured a delicious three-course meal, a photo booth and a lively disco, providing students with the perfect opportunity to mark the end of their time at Gordano. After two years of hard work and dedication in the Sixth Form, the Ball served as a fitting send-off for the Class of 2026.

Students made a tremendous effort with their preparations and arrived looking stunning in elegant ball gowns and smart suits. The glamorous atmosphere reflected the significance of the occasion and created a wonderful setting for the celebrations.

Co-Director of Sixth Form, Jason Boulton, praised the students for all they had accomplished during their time at the school.

"We are hugely proud of what these students have achieved during their time at Gordano. They have worked so hard over the last two years and deserve a big send off"

The dance floor remained full throughout the evening as students celebrated with friends, shared memories and enjoyed one last special event together. The evening concluded at 11pm, with students leaving having created new memories and said their farewells to old friends.

The Ball was a huge success and a wonderful way to recognise the achievements of the Year 13 cohort. As the Class of 2026 moves on to the next stage of their journeys, the entire Gordano community wishes them every success and happiness in the future.
