Saltmine Theatre Company Inspires Year 10 with Mental Health Performance

We were delighted to recently welcome the Saltmine Theatre Company into school to perform their powerful Ignite production, an engaging and thought‑provoking piece that explores young people’s mental health in today’s fast‑paced and demanding world.

The production was shared with our Year 10 students as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting their wellbeing, particularly as they approach the pressures of exams. Through drama, storytelling and relatable scenarios, the performance highlighted the importance of recognising stress, seeking support, and developing healthy coping strategies.

Year 10 were such a fantastic audience!

Thanks to everyone involved, both within school and from the Saltmine team, for making the visit such a meaningful and impactful experience for our students.

Miss Trevethan, Head of Ethics & PSHE

The performance served as an important reminder that no young person is alone in facing anxiety or exam stress, and that help is always available.
