Prof. Andrew Halestrap delivers a talk on 'Science and Faith: Friends or foes?'

Gordano School's Christian Union, alongside the Debate Society, hosted Prof. Andrew Halestrap who is the Emeritus Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Bristol, on Wednesday 30th April at lunchtime.
Andrew delivered a talk on 'Science and Faith: Friends or foes?' and after his thought-provoking introduction, he fielded pre-determined questions such as 'Where did the Universe come from - God or the Big Bang?' (as voted for by the students) as well as questions he answered on the spot.
Around 50 students were in attendance at the event, and the Debate Society have invited Andrew back for deeper discussions around Science and Faith.
