Led by enthusiastic and knowledgeable BBC staff, the students toured the studios and production facilities, gaining first-hand insight into how television, radio, podcasts and news programmes are created. From learning about the technical aspects of broadcasting to exploring the creative processes behind content production, the visit brought many areas of their studies to life.

One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity for students to step into the role of media professionals themselves, with several getting the chance to have a go at presenting and recording in a real studio environment.

The visit provided valuable insight into the wide range of careers available within the media industry and helped students to better understand the skills and expertise required to work in this fast-paced and exciting field.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone at BBC Studios Cardiff for making us feel so welcome and for providing such an engaging and memorable experience. Our students left feeling inspired and motivated, and we look forward to returning in the future.
