Cromarty Charity Week: Fun, Fundraising, and Fantastic Teamwork!

Cromarty Charity Week was a huge success, bringing our school community together for a brilliant mix of fun, competition, and fundraising, all in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Thanks to the enthusiasm of our students, staff, and the fantastic leadership of the Cromarty House Captains and Vice Captains, we raised an impressive £373!
This year’s Charity Week offered something for everyone; students and staff got involved in a variety of activities, including:
⚽ Penalty Shootout Challenge - our budding football stars stepped up to the spot to test their accuracy, speed, and nerves.
🧁 Bake Sale Bonanza - tables were filled with homemade cakes, cookies, brownies, and treats galore.
💦 Soak a Teacher - always a crowd favourite! Brave members of staff as well as the House Captains and Vice Captains volunteered to face the sponge-throwing chaos. Laughter echoed across the site as students took their best shot demonstrating good sportsmanship all round!
🔥 Staff vs Students Dodgeball Showdown - the ultimate battle! Both teams came with determination, and some questionable dodgeball tactics!
💚 Go Green for Macmillan - to recognise the important work Macmillan does, everyone was encouraged to come to school wearing something green.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible organisation, commitment, and teamwork from the Cromarty House Captains George and Mia and Vice Captains Sophie and Gemma, who worked tirelessly to plan and run every event. Their enthusiasm was inspiring, and they represented Cromarty House with pride throughout the week.
A special thank you goes to Miss Holt, Head of House, for her guidance and support in coordinating the week’s activities.
Cromarty Charity Week proved once again what we can achieve when we work together. From everyone who took part to those who donated, baked, cheered, organised, and got soaked - thank you. Your contributions helped us raise some much needed funds for a fantastic cause.
