Mr Skuse and Mrs Griffiths accompanied two enthusiastic teams from Year 12 and Year 13 to take part in this exciting event. Both staff members were hugely impressed by the students’ energy and impressive knowledge—especially when it came to 20th-century history.

We were up against some tough competition, including teams from St Brendan’s, Bristol Cathedral School, Redland School, Bristol Grammar School, and St Mary’s Redcliffe. For Gordano, this was a milestone—it was our first time entering the competition, and we were thrilled to finish joint 4th place!

The infamous joker round proved to be our undoing, but spirits remained high, and strategies for next year are already being planned.

It was a brilliant night combining two of our favourite things: History and Pizza. What’s not to love? We can’t wait to return next year and aim even higher!
