Gordano School is delighted to celebrate the outstanding success of two of its talented students, Ella and Jess, who achieved remarkable results at the Gymnastics Classic Challenge National Finals in Surrey.

Training locally at The Academy in Portishead, both girls were selected as part of an elite team of six to represent the South West region—an impressive achievement in itself. Competing against 14 strong regional teams from across the country, the South West team delivered exceptional performances and proudly secured the Gold Team Title, with Ella and Jess playing a vital role in the victory.

Individually, the competition was fierce, with 84 gymnasts participating in their category. Jess achieved an impressive 8th place overall, demonstrating consistency and excellence across all apparatus. In her first-ever national final, Ella delivered an extraordinary performance, claiming gold medals on vault and uneven bars, and finishing as the overall champion.

We are incredibly proud of Ella and Jess for their dedication, hard work, and outstanding achievements. Their success is a testament not only to their talent and determination but also to the fantastic support they receive from their coaches, families, and the school community.
