Gordano School Students Shine in National Maths Competition

116 talented students from Years 9, 10, and 11 at Gordano School took part in the prestigious UK Intermediate Mathematical Challenge, a national competition designed to test problem-solving and mathematical reasoning skills.

We are thrilled to announce that six exceptional students qualified for the follow-up round, known as the Kangaroo, which is by invitation only and recognises high scorers from the initial challenge. The outstanding results from Year 10 students Beatrice and Evan (silver) and Year 9 students Jacob (gold), Florence (silver), Josh (bronze) and Jerry (qualification) showcase remarkable dedication, talent, and perseverance from each individual who took part. They have done themselves and the school proud.

We congratulate them on their achievements and extend our thanks to all 116 students who embraced the challenge and truly lived up to the school’s ethos to ‘Dream Big’.
