Well done to five of our talented Year 10 GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition students who took part in the Rotary Young Chef Competition this term. Entrants had to prepare and cook a three-course meal for two people with dishes ranging from soups, home-made gnocchi, pancakes and mousses.
All entrants performed excellently on the day giving the guest judges a difficult decision. Congratulations to all our students, and good luck to Finn Best, 10F1 who will be representing the school in the regional final soon. Finn’s winning menu included soup, home made rolls, spiced coconut salmon and a tiramisu, it sounds delicious - good luck in the next round Finn and well done to everyone else who took part.
