Rotary Young Chef Competition
Year 10 students took part in the Rotary Young Chef Competition on Wednesday 30th November. They were asked to prepare a two course meal with a budget of £10. Imaginative and creative dishes were prepared and entries included homemade pasta, stuffed chicken, homemade chicken nuggets, cheesecake and mousse.
The Rotary Judges commented on the exceptionally high standard of work; making the results very close.
Congratulations to Thomas Cole who came first place with his potato-topped pie with seasonal vegetables and cheesecake finished with fruits and caramel shards. Second place went to Ryan Burton and third to Megan Young.
Thomas will now go forward to the district finals.
