Musical Siblings Chosen for National Orchestra

Congratulations to Anna and Sam Faram who have both been awarded places at the National Children's Orchestras of Great Britain!

Along with their younger brother Lucas who attends St Joseph's Primary School, they will take part in concerts at Bristol's Colston Hall, Manchester Bridgewater Hall, and Birmingham Symphony Hall. Anna will be a violinist for the main orchestra and Sam will be a percussionist in the under-12s.

All three siblings took part yesterday in a live broadcast from Gordano School for Radio Bristol's Breakfast Show with Nigel Dando.

Anna said: “This will be my sixth year with NCO and it’s Sam’s third – it has been an amazing experience so far and I have made lots of friends and met some awesome professional musicians. “During the past year I have had the opportunity to perform at top venues, most recently the London Barbican last December.
