Costa Rica Expedition Returns
The 14 students and 2 staff on the Costa Rica Expedition returned on Sunday after a hugely successful 3 weeks in Costa Rica. The team completed the the construction of a school building in a remote community in the Tayni indigenous reserve, which will make a huge difference to the lives of the local people. The team then completed a tough 3 day trek through incredibly challenging terrain, before enjoying 24hrs on an island on the Pacific coast to round off a fantastic trip. All students worked incredibly hard, were a brilliant team and enjoyed an incredibly rewarding experience - they were all sad to leave, although the thought of a first hot shower and proper bed in three weeks was certainly enough to be excited to get home!
